Missoula has been categorized as a High Intensity Trafficking Area. The information within the documents written below address the dynamics that create a designation. When an area has hit a certain amount of issues created by Trafficking groups it is required to be designated as a High Intensity Trafficking Area and watched until the issues no longer exist. Which means as long as there are incidents that need to be contained there will be a spotlight on everything happening in town. Once a community is designated as a High Intensity Trafficking Area it is required to make adjustments to decrease liability created by negligence to public safety enforcement.
